Western Leather Headstall
Western leather headstalls are made in our workroom out of premium #1 grade Wickett & Craig USA tanned bridle leather. Edges are dyed with a beautiful hand rubbed finish for the feel that you can only get from top quality leather. All hardware is stainless steel and will not rust. Finished off with a stainless steel star concho and leather tie at browband. Matching reins are sold separately. Available in the following colors, Med. Brown, Black. Available in Medium (Average Horse) – Small (Arabs and ponies) – Large (Warmbloods). There is plenty of adjustment in our Dr. Cook Western Bitless Bridle, however if you would like to be certain your bridle will fit correctly (proper fit is important) we suggest you measure and use the sizing chart below.

How To Measure
Noseband: Measure 1 1/2 ” to 2″ up from the corner of the horse’s mouth. From that point, measure the circumference of the horse’s nose.
Headstall: From the same point (1 1/2 ” – 2″ up from the corner of the horse’s mouth), run your tape measure to the very top of the poll (to the point right between the ears) and double that measurement number. This will determine the size headstall your horse needs.
